Covering approximately 21,000 route miles in 22 states and the District of Columbia, Norfolk Southern serves every major container port in the eastern United States and provides efficient connections to other rail carriers.

CSX Columbus Intermodal

Another vital intermodal partner in the Columbus Region is CSX Corporation. They provide traditional rail service and the transport of intermodal containers in Columbus and beyond. Overall, the CSX Transportation network encompasses about 21,000 route miles of track in 23 states, the District of Columbia and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec.

Situated between New York, Chicago, Toronto and Atlanta, Rickenbacker Inland Port is a one-day truck drive to nearly half of the U.S. and one-third of the Canadian populations for trucking companies operating out of Rickenbacker.
